Layout Design - The Wayfinder's Atlas

For this book of locations, the theme of the layout was inspired by some of the maps that were produced as part of the content. An old D&D campaign map I created was repurposed for the footer, with different map fragments showing at the bottom of each page, and I drew a custom compass rose in the same blue colour that permeates the layout of the book. The addition of some sparse inclusions of shaded text boxes and dark blue backgrounds to highlight text breaks up the layout on some of the text heavy pages to make it more digestable.
